Tenth Annual Event Celebrates the State’s Most Innovative Products and Services

 

MADISON, WI (October 11, 2023) – Last night, 9 winners were honored from the 25 finalists and more than 300 nominees during the 2023 Wisconsin Innovation Awards at the Memorial Union in Madison. The ceremony recognized the state’s most innovative products and services from eight industry categories. The 2023 winners were selected by a panel of 19 experts with backgrounds in many business sectors – technology, food, healthcare, agriculture, nonprofits, education, government, and the like – from throughout the state of Wisconsin.

“The Wisconsin Innovation Awards seek to celebrate and inspire innovation, and highlight the creative spirit from the state’s leading public, private and nonprofit sectors,” said Matt Younkle, Co-Founder of the Wisconsin Innovation Awards and Pythonic Corporation. “We want to congratulate all finalists and winners from the 2023 Wisconsin Innovation Awards and look forward to encouraging an even greater environment of innovation in the year to come.”

The portable and efficient design of the laser cut looms makes getting started fast and fun with endless potentials of learning traditional skills and prototyping new weavings. The design is efficient, focusing on refined features such as the wooden needles, comb and integrated display stand.

Until the Traveling Closet debuted in October 2021, mobile delivery in ‘pop up’ distribution events to bring families free clothing had never been undertaken in the state of Wisconsin.

Power of Perception (POP) is an Eau Claire-based 501(c)(3) whose mission it is to create a valuable toolbox of resources to equip Eau Claire’s African American and Biracial youth with the tools they need to become contributing citizens. By uplifting mentees through education and inspirational talks, weekly mentoring/tutoring sessions, community events, monthly care packages, POP shows up for Eau Claire’s Black/biracial youth in grades six through 12.
